All About Space makes stargazing easy with new astronomy guide
Imagine Publishing’s leading space magazine reveals revamped, improved and unique new astronomy guide
This month, Imagine Publishing’s premier space magazine has unveiled a new-look astronomy section that will make it even easier for readers of all abilities to get more success from their stargazing.
The new section debuted in issue 47, on sale 7 January in the UK, and now provides everything that both rookie and veteran astronomers need to know. From positions of the planets to the month’s must-see deep-sky objects, along with a calendar of events that ensures readers will never miss an important astronomical event again.
“We really wanted a guide to the night sky that is not only comprehensive to use, but one that also taught our readers how to try out something new,” said astronomer and Deputy Editor of All About Space, Gemma Lavender. “Whether that’s getting the very best astrophotography images of the Northern Lights or polar aligning a telescope with minimum fuss. The section is also completely red light friendly, making it readable without ruining your night vision.”
Editor in Chief Dave Harfield added: “We’re very proud of our all-new astronomy section, it brings something new and original to the way stargazing is presented in magazines. All About Space is now unique in offering something for any level of ability, providing easy-to-understand instructions for beginners and veterans alike.”
Along with tutorials and kit reviews the Stargazer section also features detailed sky maps, supplied by renowned Uranographer Will Tirion, to ensure readers can always find the sights they are looking for.
